For well over a century, cars, trucks, and SUV’s have been manufactured and built in the same fashion. Today, though, there’s a company that’s doing things a bit different. The Czinger 21C is one of the most impressive vehicles ever built. Even more impressive than the car, though, is how the car gets designed and made. We’re going to take a look at how artificial intelligence, with the help of 3D printing, may change the entire automotive industry, and how a small team in California could make it happen sooner than you think.

I like this video. It reminds me of a story of a being who made all the elements and placed them in various parts of the world, some near others far. Then made man and man goes chasing around the world looking for this elements to make all kinds of wonderful looking things like tall skyscrapers planes ships submarine cars etc. Well guess we are merely copying the original dude to get our creation to do the heavy lifting while we just *rest* 😂😂😂

I work with computer programs that design based upon how its programmed. Not quite AI but the problem is the same. I encountered a part that fits in the computer model just fine but the parts in reality couldn't be assembled. I brought this to the attention of the designer and programmers. I was treated like an idiot, the problem was never fixed in the program. And the parts were field modified to fit. I have also had issued with computer designed parts not accounting for outside factors such as human beings and usage. I see a lot of potent issues with this also.

If an A.I. is computing the optimal design and structure of the vehicle components with everything known to man factored in, wouldn't this be the pinnacle of vehicular design? Like it designed the perfect control arm structure based ALL known physhics/mathematics, so how could it ever design anything better or different? Same goes for the most optimal engine/layout/efficiency. And then they wrapped the A.I. design with a body, so how could or why would a car look any different thereafter? Other than telling the A.I., "You're now designing this for 4 passengers instead of 1 or 2", or, "You're now designing a Truck with optimal load capacity/towing." But once those designs are established, how can an A.I. improve upon this? Unless a new set of physics/mathematics are established? Or new alien composites/materials are found/designed?

Here's the problems I can think of, the world is overpopulated as it is, millions of not billions of people really on auto manufacturing for a job, what do they do when AI designs and robots build vehicles? Second, who the fuck is fixing it? Robots too? Part of the great thing about cars is that they're built by other people, they have soul and character because of that. This piece of shit has none of that, it's cold. Auto makers are already faceless giants that make decisions based on money, we really want them streamlining the entire company and destroying the economies of ALL our countries? There is such a thing as RESPONSIBLE SCIENCE which is where you ask yourself "could I build a bomb big enough to crack the earth in half? Could I make a virus engineered to disable your nervous system and mutate faster than it could ever be vaccinated against? Could I make robots that look and behave exactly like real people?" And then you ask yourself "would this actually benefit humanity? Will this have long term consequences that negatively impact not only humanity but the world in general? Does our society really need this? Is a step forward really a step forward here?" And when the answers are in conflict with these principles, you DONT FUCKING MAKE IT! Some scientists are literally the stupidest and most dangerous people on the fucking planet. I'd rather deal with ISIS than Dr. Fuckhead who thinks implanting your phone in your skull is much more convenient and elegant than just holding the fucking thing like any normal fucking human being does today. Congratulations on the fast car Czinger, hope you stay a fringe brand with modest success. I'd drive a veyron over this any fucking day and it's uglier 😂 but at least it has soul

I love 3d printing tech, AI but it has its place. Also with that kind of money/savings i would try help the poor or do something good cause consider what banks etc make in profit and help no-one when the world could have lots of problems fixed in a week if the 1% did something but they wont.

Hey this comment will get buried, but this "Czinger" company is complete vaporware and just scamming the government for grants. They used to be called Divergent 3D. They got $23m million to fund their BS operation in 2017 and they just keep changing their name to perpetuate the scam. I was actually invited into their "factory" to help with an engineering solution and they completely used and wasted my time only to milk any information I would give for free. The guy who runs engineering there is a complete fake salesman type. Don't believe the hype!

What a Fool you are.. VW productionplant is so huge becaus they produce 1car a minit (every minit a car is finished- per Production Line!!!) so 10,97million Cars/Year.. I would see how much Space you need to print 10m of that printed cars.. And if you produce that much Cars you need Buffer-Stores for Seats (they are huge), Tiers, Engines, and so on.. And Also VW has ah huge diffrent Cars "on the menue" including AUDI, Porsche and so on.. but ok, compare Pears and Apples..

]).:.([ interesting concept - "what would a conspiracy theorist do with $497,000,000.00?" well supposing that first of all he would expose this hoax virus crisis for what it truly is by publicly totally eliminating each and every component viciously responsible for 'its' imaginatively fantastic creation and those equally complicit in 'its' repetitious vomit inducing maintenance, then, after successfully hijacking "the new world order" when in the absence of such evil influence, he would proceed to reset and restructure this world as having an opportunity base open to each, every, any and all who may care to participate in a world of truth and prosperity, largely because, he would know that we all have been so intentionally dumbed down and institutionally conformed that our otherwise anywhere near accurate potential is vastly unpredictable, of course, to avoid the same historical mistakes, this would not be attempted without as much necessary yada, yada, yada and blah, blah, blah in the form of wise council and quality feedback as can be reasonably mustered, assuring all of a status of equality in this massive dismantling and rebuilding project which collectively culminates into an effort never before undertaken by the human kind, and lastly, while it is very highly likely that most probably, depending upon how tired he might be at the end of that time, he would use the remainder to make a down payment on a 3-d printed automobile for himself, that is, unless he chose to build his own improved version, should this find any in disagreement, in fairness, just know that whomsoever that may be is entirely welcome to place whatsoever they believe that they would do with their $497,000,000.00 right here, within some identifiable proximity, next to this - yet, strangely enough, another interesting concept, a contest for best model, imagine that, I do hope that we are all still around to see it .*.*.

that’s not artificial intelligence. we are talking about a design and manufacturing approach which is different from the previous one but it‘s still initiated by humans. the programs and tools are programmed to process a specific task. the task comes from a human.
